Safety & Security

Sam Rayburn ISD Police Department

iWatchTexas

On August 16, 2022, Governor Abbott launched a public service announcement to promote the awareness of the iWatchTexas School Safety Reporting System. It is an invaluable resource for reporting (and ensuring law enforcement in partnership with school systems quickly and effectively responds to) suspicious activity in schools and communities. Tips can be reported anonymously, and all reports are confidential. There are three ways to make a report, which are detailed on page two of this brochure.
